Chase Merchant Services was a joint venture between Chase Merchant ventures, Inc., a subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., and First Data Merchant Services, Corp., a subsidiary of First Data Corp. (NYSE: FDC). Chase Merchant Services was 50 percent owned by JPMorgan Chase Bank and 50 percent by First Data Merchant Services.
